The Bradford Jamaat was established in the early 1960s when a small group of individuals migrated from Waagar, India, and settled in West Yorkshire. Fast forward three generations, and the number of families has reached 95. Mumenin migrated here from different states of India, including Gujarat and Maharashtra from the west, Madhya Pradesh from the central region, and Karnataka from the south, with Rajasthan (Waagar) still predominating in the Jamaat.
The Bradford Jamaat has received divine blessings through multiple visits from the late His Holiness Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA. With the Barakat of his Qudum and the growing Jamaat members, the demand for a Masjid became apparent. This vision materialized in 2008 when the late His Holiness Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA inaugurated Adam Masjid. Adam Masjid is unique in its architecture and history. It is the 3rd Masjid in the UK constructed with beautiful Yorkshire stone. It became one of the first masaajid to incorporate solar power in the UK. In 2022, Adam Masjid and Bradford Mumineen, was bestowed by the Qudum of His Holiness Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS Maula, immediately after the Ashara Mubaraka in London.

We have put in significant effort over the years, resulting in prosperity. Many members have pursued higher education, sharing their knowledge with the local community. We take pride in the substantial number of professionals within our Jamaat who contribute to society in various fields such as healthcare, education, civil service, accountancy, and engineering. We also strive to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Mumineen are involved in projects such as supporting local food banks, contributing to local and national charities, and partnering with others to protect and enhance the natural environment. We are actively involved in annual tree-planting and monthly river cleaning initiatives. The pinnacle of our prosperity is the FMB. In Bradford, 60 families, including students, are partaking in the Barakat of Thali 5 days a week. Foreign students studying within a 30-mile radius of Bradford also receive Thali Barakat.
